AVPS was established in Woodland Hills, California during the summer of 2000. However, Tiffany Segura, the founder of AVPS, has been in the credit card acquiring industry since 1985. She began as a receptionist and by 1989 she was selling merchant accounts for Peachtree/Advanced Payment Solutions. She sold state of the art equipment (Zon Jrs and Envoys) door to door in the greater Los Angeles area.
